"This reserve is well represented by average (or even more natural) beech forests of Börzsöny; it is quite rich in special habitats. The biodiversity is high; the area is a large catchment, surrounded by natural boundaries. Based on its age group and stand structure it belongs to the more diverse areas in spite of alien afforestation."
