Az erdőrezervátumban zonális mészkedvelő tölgyes, a völgyekben cseres tölgyes van (a kocsánytalan tölgy hiányzik!). Az élőhely itt üdébb, gyertyános-tölgyes erdők számára is alkalmas lehetne. A védőzónában tájidegen fenyők hótörött állományai találhatók, ahol terjed a bálványfa. A faállományok homogén szerkezetűek, fafajkészletük hiányos és zavart.

"There are zonal closed thermophilus Quercus pubescens woodlands in the reserve, Quercus cerris-Quercus petrea forests in the valleys (sessile oak is missing). The habitat is more mesic here, this can be suitable for sessile oak-hornbeam forests. Snow-broken stands of non-native pines can be found in the buffer zone, where tree of heaven is spreading. The stand structure is homogeneous; their species composition is incomplete and disturbed."
