Farkas-sziget 2. Erdőrezervátum

Szikfásítási kísérleti célból ültetett, változatos, ám tájidegen fafajösszetételű állományok jellegtelen és szegényes élővilággal, homogén faállomány-szerkezettel (és invazív fafajokkal). ERTI kísérleti terület - az erdőrezervátum-kutatás céljaitól eltérő célkitűzésekkel.

"This forest has been planted for the experimental afforestation of the saline areas, it is varied, but the stands have non-native tree species composition with uncharacteristic and poor wildlife, homogeneous stand structure (and invasive tree species). It is an ERTI (Forest Research Institute) experimental area – with aims that are different from the objectives of the forest reserve research."
