Az erdőrezervátum nagy rész nem "erdő", hanem ültetvény (részben fiatalos) és sásrét, illetve vizes élőhely. A terület rendkívül zavart, intenzív vadgazdálkodás alatt áll, a vadállomány rendkívül magas. Az erdőkben igen nagy arányú és fenyegető az invazív fafajok (a "göröndökön" a bálványfa és akác, a ligeterdőkben a zöldjuhar és amerikai kőris) jelenléte és terjedése.

"The main part of the reserve is not forest, but plantation (partly juvenile) and sedge bed together with wetlands. The area is extremely disturbed, there is intensive game management, and the game stock is high. The presence and spread of the invasive tree species (on the levees tree of heaven and black locust; ashleaf maple and green ash in the riverine forests) are quite large-scale and threatening in the forests."
