Az erdő régebben igen erős használat alatt állt (sarjaztatták), jelentős része edafikus; másutt az állományok elegyarány viszonyai és összetétele alapvetően az erdőgazdálkodás által kialakított (pl. elegyetlen telepített cseresek). A magterületen öreg állomány nincsen, a faállományok szerkezete egyöntetű, természetes dinamikát még nem mutat. A rezervátumban sok a vágásterület és a jelentősen megbontott állomány.

"The forest used to be under an intensive utilization (coppicing), a significant part of it is edaphic; elsewhere the mixture proportion and composition of the stands are basically formed by forest management (e.g. unmixed planted turkey oak woodlands). There is no old stand in the core area, the stand structure is homogeneous, and natural dynamics have not occurred yet. There are plenty cutting areas and considerably thinned stands."
